AO CMF is calling for applications for an AO CMF R&D Commission Member for the coming term.
The tenure of a current AO CMF R&D Commission member will soon draw to a close. With this, AO CMF announces a call for applications and nominations.
If you are interested and fit the criteria mentioned below, you may apply for this position. You may also nominate a colleague who meets the selection prerequisites. Please note: your application or nomination must be submitted by November 16, 2017, by 17:00 Central European Time.
Prerequisites
The AO CMF R&D Commission Member position has been created for highly motivated individuals of international professional repute and excellent scientific and clinical recognition.
The elected members will be part of the AO CMF R&D Commission, overseeing and managing all R&D activities. Applicants are expected to be experienced clinicians, who are able to set new standards, in order to position AO CMF as a global leader in craniomaxillofacial surgery research.
The successful candidate will become an AO CMF R&D Commission member for a three-year term, from July 2018 to June 2021.
To apply for this position, the candidate must be an AO CMF member who fulfills the requirements provided in the Job description, be willing to commit the requested time, and able to work in a multicultural environment without any travel restrictions. The AO CMF R&D Commission meets up to two times per year. The applicant cannot hold any other AO Commission or Board functions at the same time.
Election process
Applications must be submitted to AO CMF by November 16, 2017, by 17:00 Central European Time. These will then be handed to the Nomination Committee. The applications of candidates who fulfill the prerequisites will be selected, and the AO CMF International Board will elect the new AO CMF R&D Commission member.
