Call for applications and nominations for AO CMF Research and Development Commission member post

One current AO CMF Research and Development (R&D) Commission members’ term is drawing to a close and, with this in mind, AO CMF is calling for applications and nominations for candidates to fill one AO CMF R&D Commission member post for the coming term.
If you are interested and meet the criteria mentioned below, you may apply for this position. You may also nominate colleagues who meet the selection prerequisites. Please note: Applications and nominations must be submitted by Friday, March 12, 2021, 5 pm Central European Time (CET).
The AO CMF R&D Commission member positions were created for highly motivated individuals of international professional repute and excellent scientific recognition.
The elected member will be part of the AO CMF R&D Commission, overseeing and managing all AO CMF R&D activities. Applicants and nominees are expected to be researcher with strong preclinical background in Bone Tissue Engineering working in a multidisciplinary environment of CMF surgery, with strong reputations as well as able to set new standards to position AO CMF as a global leader in craniomaxillofacial surgery research.
The successful candidate will become an AO CMF R&D Commission member for a three-year term: July 2021 to June 2024.
To be considered for this position, candidates must be AO CMF member who fulfill the requirements provided in the job description. Candidates must be willing to commit the necessary time and able to work in a multicultural environment without any travel restrictions. The AO CMF R&D commission meets twice a year. Candidates cannot hold any other AO commission or board function at the same time.
Applications must be submitted to AO CMF, by Friday, March 12, 2021, by 5 pm CET. Applications will then be handed to the Nomination Committee. Applications of candidates who fulfill the prerequisites will be selected.

Eligible to vote in the election are:
- Voting members of the AO CMF R&D Commission
- Members of the immediate past AO CMF R&D Commission
- Voting members of the AO CMF International Board
