AOCMF Masters Course—Orthognathic Surgery, Challenges and Controversies

This three-day course focuses on state-of-the-art techniques and best practices at a master's level in orthognathic surgery. Emerging technologies and clinical controversies in orthognathics are addressed. Using human anatomical specimens, surgical access techniques are developed and chin wing, Le Fort I-III, and BSSO type Obwegeser osteotomies are performed. AOCMF Course-Advances in Orthognatic Surgery & Distraction Osteogenesis (with anatomical specimens)

This two and half day course focuses on state-of-the-art techniques, technologies and best practices on orthognathic surgery and distraction osteogenesis. Emerging technologies and clinical controversies in orthognathics are addressed. Using human anatomical specimens, surgical access techniques are developed and genioplasty, Le Fort I - III, and BSSO type Obwegeser osteotomies are performed.   Maxillary internal distractor devices will be utilized for fixation of the Lefort I osteotomy.
