The first AOCMF Course was conducted in 1974. Since then, the number of educational events has rapidly increased to around 110 worldwide each year. Today, over 5,300 surgeons are trained all over the world by experienced AOCMF Faculty Members.

AOCMF Course - Orbital Dissection; Advanced Surgical Techniques (with Human Anatomical Specimens)

The goal of the course is to learn the topographic anatomy of the orbit and its surgical approaches. The topics will be taught in lectures, plenary discussions, practical exercises on human anatomical specimens as well as through computer planning. Describe the topographic anatomy for surgical approaches to the orbit Describe the soft and hard tissue surgery around the orbit Outline the different types of surgical approaches to the orbit Select the appropriate upper and lower eyelid incisions
